Defending Our Gun Rights

Unlike the incumbent, I will fight to protect your Second Amendment rights and ensure that all Texans have the freedom to exercise those rights fully. I believe in full constitutional carry, which means that every law-abiding citizen should be able to carry a firearm without a license, just as they have the right to free speech or to peacefully assemble.

Texas has a long and proud history of upholding the Second Amendment, and I am committed to continuing that tradition. My opponent voted to infringe on the 2nd Amendment by voting HB2744 out of committee.  He also missed the opportunity to advance legislation that would have banned red-flag laws here in Texas.  I will work to pass legislation that strengthens our gun rights, defends our freedoms, and protects our families.  I will stand strong against any legislation aimed at weakening the 2nd Amendment.  

What part of "Shall Not Be Infringed" does he not understand?

I will work to ensure that Texas remains a beacon of freedom and liberty. I will stand firmly against any attempts to infringe on our Second Amendment rights and will work to protect our state from any federal overreach that threatens our freedoms.
