Secure Borders

As Texans, we take pride in our state, and we want to protect what we have built here. That is why securing our border is vitally important. We need to know who is coming into our state, and we should be able to stop those who would do us harm, even when the Federal Government fails to do so.

The reality is that our border is not secure. Drug smugglers, human traffickers, and other criminals are exploiting our porous border, putting our communities at risk. This is unacceptable, and we need to take action.

As your representative, I will work to secure our border. I will advocate for increased resources for our border patrol agents, and I will work to ensure that our state has the tools it needs to effectively secure our border.  Even if the federal government won’t!
